Designing a superhuman
school website for the X-Men!
For completion of the Associate Certificate in Web Design with Dublin Institute of Design, I was tasked with building a website for a movie character of my choice.
My choice was Professor X from the X-Men, and I designed a school website for the fictitious Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters.
This was an extensive project involving:
competitor research - analysing similar websites and comparing features
becoming proficient in web fundamental tools - HTML, CSS, and Javascript
using Adobe Photoshop - creation of design assets, and wireframes of final .psd files.
The website project earned a distinction grade and selections of the research process, design illustrations and final website are provided below.
